After seeing the Record player creator set (and the gift-with-purchase set) I thought about how much the technology has evolved over generations.
I've always loved the look of gramaphones and this one was super fun to design! I tried to keep it at a similar scale to the creator set.
I wasn't too happy with the 45 degree angle provided by the elbow piece, but there is no piece allowing for an angle between 45 and 90 in that category, so I used a rotation joint for some extra angle.
The needle and speaker/funnel can be positioned and they are quite sturdy thanks to the plate with holes that are wedged into the main structure, as seen in the below right picture.

Here's my interpretation of the YT1300 Corellian light freighter aka the Millennium Falcon. It's based off the idea George Lucas came up with for the design; a hamburger with a bite taken out of it, with a stuffed olive for the cockpit. It was my entry for the Freighter Wars contest on Rebrick in 2017 and i was lucky enough to win a signed copy of the 75192 set. May the force be with you!
